Environmental Solutions Worldwide (ESW) started in 1998 as a research and development company with the goal to develop a ceramic based catalytic converters for the automotive industry.

In 2001 ESW acquired the assets and proprietary technologies of an emissions testing and catalyst development company in Pennsylvania. Through this acquisition, ESW began the research and development of a wire mesh based substrate technology that could be adapted for usage on diesel, gasoline and alternative fueled engines.

ESW became the first to overcome the technical difficulties of producing a commercialized wire mesh based catalyst for internal combustion engines of all sizes. This unique proprietary catalyst product achieves in most applications superior emissions reductions and structural durability to current conventional technologies available on the market.

ESW's catalyst development is done in full compliance with ISO 9001:2000. This internationally recognized quality control system was developed by the International Organization for Standardization and provides an international benchmark for quality systems and foundation for continuous improvement and assurance in design, development and manufacturing.
